Ingredients:

  • 50 g butter
  • 300 g chicken liver
  • 30 g Univer Onion Paste
  • 50 g Univer Piros Arany Paprika Paste (+ extra for garnish)
  • 4–6 large, ripe tomatoes
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • 4–5 sprigs fresh parsley

Instructions:

1. Prepare the Chicken Pâté:

  • Melt the butter in a pan, then add cleaned and chopped chicken liver. Sauté until lightly browned.
  • Stir in Univer Onion Paste and cook briefly under a lid.
  • Blend the mixture into a smooth, creamy pâté, seasoning with Univer Piros Arany Paprika Paste for extra depth of flavor.

2. Prepare the Tomatoes:

  • Wash the tomatoes, slice off the tops (about ⅕ of the tomato), and carefully scoop out the insides with a spoon. (Save the pulp for sauces or soups.)
  • Fill each hollowed tomato with chilled pâté.

3. Garnish & Serve:

  • Sprinkle with freshly ground black pepper and chopped parsley.
  • Add a small swirl of Univer Piros Arany Paprika Paste on top for an extra burst of flavor.
  • Serve with crispy croutons or toasted bread.

The pâté can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2–3 days.
